Canadian team looking for victory start, skipper Mihir Patel believe in depth strength of his team instead of individuals

Canada Cricket team who is going to start their kick with an important match against UAE is looking for victory to get the boost in team and players.

Canadian Cricket team skipper Mihir Patel who also played ICCU19WC2020 not relying on any individual but his thoughts on whole with depth in the team as their batting order bats really low with multiple bowling options in his playing eleven.

He said: “It’s one win and one loss for us against the UAE so we’re looking to make it two to one. Winning the first game always gives the boys confidence so that is something we’ve been looking forward to doing.

“I think our strength is the depth of our team, we have a really balanced team. Our batting order bats really low and we have a lot of bowling options so we don’t rely heavily on one or two players. Our players have shown capability that they can get things done, but it’s about doing it for a longer period of time and making sure we make the right decisions at the right time.”

Canada Cricket team not to much known in the ICC Mega events but Juniors are participating in the mega event continually second time in a row after 2020. Team captain who is Toronto based 19 years old cricketer also showed his concern over less and restricted training time due to Covid-19.
