Bird Alexander who already scored in 25th minute got the chance of Penalty Shoot after swear foul from USA player in 52nd minute of the match and convert the lead into 4-0 which will remain same until end of the game.
Canada field hockey team was given two green and three yellow cards in the match while USA players were cautioned three green and three yellow cards in the 60 minute game of four quarters.

Canada Hockey team gradually increased their performances from Pool stage to position stage. Canada start their journey in the junior hockey world cup 2021 against India which was lost by heavy margin of 12 goals ( India won by 13-1 ), and in the second match against France margin was reduced to 11 (France won by 11-1). The 3rd pool match of Canada was against South Africa which was lost by margin of four goals (S.A won by 7-3).

FIH Junior Hockey World cup 2021 semi finals will be played on Friday 3rd December. France will face Argentine in the first semi final while India will face Germany in the second semi final. The final of the event will be played on Sunday 5th December.
