Cricket Australia agreed upon the schedule of tour Pakistan in March-April 2022 and final dates announced by Pakistan Cricket Board from Lahore. After 1998 Australia is touring Pakistan first time in which three test matches, three ODI and one T20 will be played at Karachi, Rawalpindi and Lahore.
According to Pakistan Cricket board released schedule first test will be played at National Stadium Karachi from 3rd march to 7th march, second test match between Pakistan and Australia will be played at Rawalpindi while third and last test match venue will be Gaddafi Cricket Stadium Lahore from 21st to 25th march 2022.
Australia will play three ODI and one T20 also at Lahore from 29th march to 5th of April.
On the tour announcement Australian Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley showed his respect with fans of Pakistan in following words.
“Cricket Australia is excited about the prospect of touring Pakistan next year for what will be a highly anticipated series in a country so incredibly passionate about the game and their national team.”
Chairman PCB Ramiz Raja also exclaimed with passion on the Australian Cricket team tour to Pakistan.
